Hi friends! Happy Thursday.
Busy week over here! I started my new job in the chemotherapy clinic. I love it so far! It is early to say, only 2 days in…but, I’ve got a really good feeling about it. 🙂
I was at the gym on Monday and I saw a handout. I picked it up and read it. It was serendipitous because I’ve been writing about a lot of the things included in the checklist, but this put it too succinctly not to share!
Over the years, I’ve found that happiness, positivity, sleeping enough, making healthy choices are very much intertwined. Mind/body/spirit connection is another way to say it. A lot of times I think people disassociate one or more of those and I just don’t think you can. If you are ignoring one part of your health (mental, physical, spiritual) I believe that the other areas are probably suffering too.

I’ve reminded myself of my life purpose
I’m clear on my priorities from the day
I’ve engaged in exercise
I’ve planned to eat healthy
I intend to practice meditation/relaxation
I will not accept unhelpful, negative thoughts
I’m confident today will be a good day
I’m hopeful for the future
I’m grateful for the people in my life
I intend to praise at least one person today
I’m determined to find ways to use my strengths
I’m going to have fun
I will laugh and smile
I will endeavor to be in the moment as much as possible.
I’ll saver all positive experiences
Achieving happiness requires nothing more than practicing a few simple disciplines, every day
