For those of you that have been doing the treadmill workouts, sorry to leave you hanging last week! With the weather being gorgeous I was trying to soak in every single minute, thus taking my runs outside! The treadmill was far from my mind. As Drew and I ran together on Sunday, pushing Mr. Maxwell in the stroller…I said, “wow, I feel way stronger and in better running shape!”
Adding workouts/speed training into your routine does make a huge difference vs. just always doing a steady state cardio! I’m excited to retest and see where I am after a few more weeks. I also cannot wait to jump into a 5K!
Here is another treadmill workout. It is straight forward, but will be very challenging. Take a two minute break between the 1/2 miles, either a jog or walk pace.
